BIO

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

Stories that dance with whimsy and pathos

My work for stage and screen is a playful, often absurd exploration of the human experience. Blending heart and social commentary, I craft narratives that challenge, entertain, and inspire, with a particular focus on LGBT perspectives and the meta-theatrical. I invites audiences to question the world through an engaging and entertaining experience.

STARTING OUT

My first-ever professional sale… and my first-ever published typo!

Back in 2004, when I was just starting out, I was so eager to sell my first play that I didn’t even notice I’d misspelled 'author' in the ad I posted in The Stage! Still, the ad did its job, leading to the thrill of my first paycheck as a playwright. Proof that passion trumps perfection, right?
